How I Use Ai

AI is part of my creative toolkit, but the decisions are mine. I use it to move faster through repetitive or exploratory work, so I have more time for the judgment calls that actually shape a project.

I use AI for:

Brainstorming and ideation, to generate a wide spread of directions before I narrow in on one
Imagery editing, upscaling, resizing, and illustration generation, mostly for iterative production work
Benchmark research, to scan competitive and industry references quickly
Documentation and reporting, to turn process work into something clear I can share with teams and stakeholders
Workflow setup, to keep projects organized so more of my energy goes into the work itself

Concept development, creative direction, and final visual decisions stay with me. AI can widen my options and speed up execution, but understanding what a client or user actually needs comes from experience and context, not a tool.

A note for clients

I'd ask that you not run my design work through general AI tools like ChatGPT or Claude for feedback before sharing your thoughts with me directly. Those tools don't know your business, your market, or your customers, so their feedback tends to be generic and can pull a design away from what will actually work for you. If something isn't landing, tell me directly and I'll address the real reason behind it.
